PTFE hard sealing offers superior chemical resistance and a wider temperature range (up to +230°C), though its sealing performance is slightly lower than that of EPDM. The choice depends on the medium type and operating temperature.
Q2: What is the difference between wafer-style and lug-style butterfly valves?
UN: Wafer-style butterfly valves are installed between two flanges using through-bolts; they are easy to install, lihé, and cost-effective, making them suitable for general applications. Lug-style butterfly valves feature threaded lugs on both sides, allowing them to be bolted individually to flanges; this enables the downstream piping to be disconnected without draining the system, facilitating maintenance.
Q3: Can this butterfly valve be used for steam?
