1. Raw Material Preparation and Mixing

PVC-U resin forms the base. Add heat stabilizers, lubricants, fillers, and aids as per standards. Mixing ensures uniformity at 80–120°C, supporting plasticization.

2. Twin-Screw Extrusion and Plasticization Homogenization

The compound enters a twin-screw extruder. Shear heat and external heating at 160–200°C melt, degas, and homogenize material, forming a dense PVC melt. Screw settings and temperature zones are key to pipe quality.

3. Vacuum Shaping and Gradient Cooling

After extrusion, the melt goes to a vacuum sizing tank. Vacuum and cooling keep the pipe round and even. Wrong cooling rates cause warping or brittleness.

4. Traction, Cutting, and Online Inspection

A traction machine pulls the pipe to match the extrusion and cooling speed. Automatic cutters standardize lengths. Laser measurement, wall thickness scans, and visual inspection give fast quality feedback.
