TheDurable Ductile Iron Flanged Globe Valve is a high performance manual shut-off valve designed for reliable flow regulation and isolation in water, olej, gas and steam piping systems. Using a sturdy WCB carbon steel/ductile iron valve body with 13Cr stainless steel hardened disc and stainless steel stem (A182F6a), it provides excellent wear resistance, sealing performance and long service life in harsh industrial environments. Working Principle

The globe valve operates by raising or lowering a disc (plug) relative to the stationary seat, controlling the flow of media through the valve. The handwheel turns the stem, which moves the disc up and down:

  • Valve Closed: The disc is lowered onto the seat, creating a tight seal that stops flow completely.
  • Valve Open: The disc is raised from the seat, allowing media to flow through the valve body.
  • Throttling: The disc can be positioned at any point between fully open and fully closed, enabling precise flow regulation.
