Differences in Raw Materials

PPR pipes are made from copolymer polypropylene, while PVC pipes use polyvinyl chloride. The differences between the two raw materials result in distinct performance and appearance. For example, in terms of color, PPR pipes show excellent luster and toughness, and can be made into a variety of colors by adding pigments. In contrast, PVC pipes are mostly milky white and have a smooth surface.

Differences in Wall Thickness

PPR pipes come in 4-inch and 6-inch sizes, with wall thicknesses of 2.3 mm and 3.5 mm respectively. PVC pipes, when the specification is 6 мм, have a wall thickness of 2 мм. For PVC pipes with specifications between 8 and 10 мм, the wall thickness is 2.5 мм.
