Working Principle

The ZZWPE electric temperature control valve operates through a closed-loop control system comprising three core components: the control valve body, the intelligent electric actuator, and the temperature sensor (PT100 thermocouple). The system is available in both heating-type and cooling-type configurations:

Heating-Type Operation: The valve is normally open. When the medium temperature rises to the setpoint, the sensor sends a linear signal to the actuator, which drives the valve stem to close proportionally, reducing the steam/thermal oil flow and stopping further temperature rise. When the temperature drops below the setpoint, the actuator opens the valve to restore heating.

Cooling-Type Operation: The valve is normally closed. When the medium temperature rises above the setpoint, the actuator opens the valve to allow cooling medium flow, reducing the process temperature.
