1. How to choose inlet quantity and size?
Standard offers 2 tabi 4 male inlets of 2.5″ (BS336). Choose 2-way for general building connections; 4-way for large airports, petrochemical sites needing higher flow or multiple fire trucks connection. Other inlet sizes can be customized – please specify.
2. Can the outlet flange be changed to other standards?
Standard is BS4504 DN150. We also offer ANSI Class 150, DIN PN16 or JIS 10K flanges – please indicate required standard and pressure rating when ordering.
3. Is the product suitable for seawater?
Standard brass and ductile iron are suitable for fresh water. For seawater or saline environments, we recommend all-stainless steel or special coating (epoxy+polyurethane) versions for enhanced corrosion resistance. Custom solutions available.
4. Is 10 bar working pressure sufficient for fire pump boosting?
10 igi (1.0MPa) covers typical fire systems, pump outlet usually ≤1.2MPa. For higher pressure (f.eks., super high-rise), we offer higher pressure-rated bodies (f.eks., 16 igi) – please provide system pressure for proper selection.
5. Are caps and chains easily lost? Are spares available?
The ABS cap and galvanized chain are designed with anti-loss connection (chain links cap to body). Extra spare parts (caps, chains, edidi) can be ordered separately as accessory kits.
